About Cinda the Labrador (On Trial 30/8/14)
Meet Cinda, a beautiful, fun loving 4 year old Labrador who has so much love to give. She has the most beautiful, big, brown eyes. She is a great girl who knows her basic commands, sit, stay and come, but would also enjoy the challenge of some more training. She has manners when it comes to food and will sit before she is fed.
She is learning to play fetch, she just forgets to return the ball! With some practice she will learn the way the game works and there are hours of fun to be had. Cinda is not upset when she is home alone and can be trusted not to tear the yard apart. She needs careful introductions to other dogs. She would not suit a home with cats or pocket pets.
Cinda will sleep inside or outside, but of course inside is preferred. She does not bark at night - in fact she rarely barks at all. She does need to be allowed to inside for at least a couple of hours in the evening to enjoy the company of her family.
She is very social and has a lot of love and energy, she would best be suited to a family with older children as she does not realise how big she is and may knock little ones off their feet with all her licks and energy.
Cinda is very affectionate and loves to be patted and loved. She would be a great addition to a family with older children.
For more information or to meet Cinda please phone Anita on 0400 107 603 or email noitamc@hotmail.com. Cinda is in foster care in Newcastle, NSW.
Cinda's $300 adoption fee includes her desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.rtf.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
