About Puppy Harmony (On Hold, yard check (26/8/14)
EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST: Hi there, my name is Harmony and I am a female, kelpie x labrador puppy of 8 weeks who will be looking for my ideal forever home very shortly. I am chocolate in colour and full of life and ready for my new adventures.
So far I have met both little and big dogs and get on with them all. I am full of personality and playfulness as you would expect from a pup my age.
I am starting to understand my name and coming when I am called; this may or may not be because I am worried about missing out on treats. Currently I am not toilet trained but this will come with time as long as you also help me learn.
I will need you to invest time in me on training, but the training we lack in at the moment is more than compensated by my cuteness are and adorable puppy antics. So my new family will not only need to be a loving one but one that would also be prepared to invest time in my training so I can become a good canine citizen
There is nothing more enjoyable to me than playing and also chewing on a big bone, just like the big dogs.
I am eager to please and love to be near you, so it would be important for me that I am allowed to spend time inside with my family and if I am required to sleep outside once I am bigger I would appreciate having my own pad which was protected from the elements.
I would not be ready to leave my foster home until late August as I need to be desexed and have a second vaccination, however if you see me as a perfect fit to you family please contact my foster carers to make enquiries and complete an adoption questionare.
My foster carer is Anne and you can contact her by calling 0412 837 867 or by emailing anne_armitage@bigpond.com I. am currently in care in the Newcastle area.
Harmony’s adoption fee is $450 includes her desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au
Medical notes
Will be desexed and vaccinated
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.rtf.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
