Walter

Walter is such a happy-go-lucky little boy who loves other dogs and is fine with cats. He is a highly intelligent boy who is soooo responsive to training - he responds to verbal commands instantly and is very quick to learn new things. He loves to play with other dogs and follow them around, and is quite submissive with them. He is brilliant on lead, just trots alongside you with no pulling. Even though walter only has short little legs, he's an active boy who absolutely loves to run - and he is quite fast too. When he's had his exercise, he's a fairly quiet boy - very easy going and just happy to be lounging around in the sun or doing a bit of lapsitting. He is housetrained too, and thinks cats are quite scary!

Walter is very affectionate and loves to have cuddles - and he especially loves it if you talk to him and he tilts his head in acknowledgement. He thinks toys are pretty good too, and he tries very hard to fit his little mouth around the squeaky tennis balls. When walter meets someone new, he can be a little unsure - but it doesn't take long and soon enough his tail is wagging and he is enjoying pats - he must surely have the fastest tail ever!! walter has a short coat and feels the cold, so at night he likes to have a blanket over him - and if you tuck him in, he will bury his head and stay on his bed all night.
