About Lady Mims
Trying out a home. Mims is a friendly loyal girl and although qualifying as a senior, is very lively and alert. She is definitely aware of her royal connections, and oversees the activities of her staff between naps. She was a show dog in her youth, and has been a pet for the past few years. She will become quite attached to her new owner, and just loves to be around, sitting nearby. Mims needs a quiet home without children. Someone retired or working from home would be ideal. She would be better as an only pet. While she generally tolerates other animals in the house, i get the message she would prefer to be the only one. She is housetrained and needs to be an inside dog. She is very clean and asks if she wants to go out. She likes to go for a walk, and this is good for her interest and health
Medical notes
As an older dog mims has a little joint stiffness at times but i have started her on a food supplement to promote joint health. Like many older dogs, she may need medication for arthritis in the future. At present she is overweight (17. 1kg when i weighed her a couple of weeks ago). She is on a reduction diet and losing a bit of weight will assist with her joint comfort. Has been started on heartgard
