About Tikki
Tikki is a sweet, affectionate, gentle boy.
When Tikki came into foster care he quickly learned some basics such as “come”, “sit”, “drop” and “wait”. \ He quickly settled down and has really become a pleasure to have around.
He rarely barks, even when playing with his foster brothers. He just loves a silent dance or hard wrestle with them!
He’s also a bit of a couch potato around the house and loves to lie by the heater.
Tikki walks like a dream on a lead too, he wouldn’t dream of pulling! He loves going in the car and sits silently looking out of the window or curls up and sleeps, and politely waits til he’s asked to get out.
He's also extremely obedient and is the star of his class at obedience school, he loves to please and is a very fast learner. He had a rough start in life and can be fearful when approached head-on by new dogs, but as soon as he knows they're friendly, he just loves to play! For that reason, he’s not a dog-park dog but is so lovely to do anything with and great to have around.
He also has had no “accidents” inside and always does the right thing. He’s a very pretty, loving and smoochy boy who absolutely loves kisses and cuddles.... with continued calmness and control will be an awesome family dog.
He has a very waggy-waggy tail and his foster mum often thinks that someone is knocking at the door!
Tikki has been living with two other dogs and four cats and gets along famously with them all! He adores his foster sister kittens and lovingly nuzzles them and sleeps with them whenever possible.
He’d love a home where he can get plenty of exercise and would make a wonderful running partner.... his long legs could keep up with anyone!
Medical notes
Tikki has been desexed, vaccinated and micro chipped. He is up to date with flea and worm control.
