About Moses
Moses is a quiet old boy who has won our hearts since the moment we met him. He might be a little grey in the face, but he still has lots of life and love left in him! He loves to play and was delighted to meet the other Chihuahuas in foster care. He quickly buddied up with Torro and the two boys played together after a bath and a treat! He would be great in a home with another dog, however he is also very happy to be on his own and shows no signs of separation anxiety!
In his foster home, he is living with large dogs and cats, and he gets along great with them. He is gentle and affectionate and would be fine with \ a family with older children, however he hasn't lived with young children so we would not recommend this. He loves adults, and bonds very strongly to his owner. It is very sad that Moses had to be surrendered to the shelter, his owner had a disability and was unable to continue to care for him. However, we are confident we will find him a wonderful home to live out the rest of his life.

Medical notes
Moses is desexed, microchipped and vaccinated. He has been tested for heartworm and treated with parasite prevention.
He is on a diet designed especially for senior dogs, and he sure loves to eat!
Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, please email chihuahuarescueqld@gmail.com for an Adoption Application. From there, we will be in contact with you within 48 hours to talk further about your application and if successful, to arrange a meet and greet.
Prior to adoption, all dogs will need to have a meet and greet with their family, and a house check will be done. All adoptions are subject to a two week trial to ensure your new friend fits in well with your household.
We have many dogs that are in foster care and are not yet ready to be listed for a variety of reasons. If you have a good idea of what you are looking for in your new dog please email us at chihuahuarescueqld@gmail.com and let us help you match a dog to your needs.
