Meet the very brave and the very affectionate Evie.

You will never (ever) believe the journey that this girl has undertaken in the short 11 months of her life so far - see details below!

Evie is an AMAZING girl.... she is child and dog friendly, is house trained, walks well on lead, LOVES her humans and is so well mannered.

Evie would best suit a home where someone was home a lot during the day to keep her company, she simply loves being around people and can fret a little if left on her own.

She has been desexed, microchiped and vaccinated and is a picture of health.

Evie would love nothing more than to find a loving family of her own where she will be spoilt rotten like she always should have been. She would love to be able to sleep indoors and come on family outings. She will need long daily walks to keep her mentally and physically stimulated also.

Even though Evie is so well mannered, ongoing obedience training would be great for her to attend. She has some basic obedience knowledge and we feel she will be very easy to train as she is so willing to learn new things.

Evie had a terrible first 'owner'. She was shot in the head (yes you heard me right) as an easy disposal method as they no longer had the time to care for her. Luckily for her she escaped a certain death as the bullet missed and only caused a small (but substantial) wound to her head, she was able to flee to safety and found refuge hidden between a pack of lambs in a farm field. The farmer found her the following morning and contact the local ranger, so Evie then found herself in a rural pound and this is where we heard of her.

We agreed to take Miss Evie on and had her booked in for transport the following day. But then something terrible happened. The transport she was riding on was involved in a tragic and fatal road accident. Evie found herself thrown from her dog trailer and remarkably uninjured. She fled and found cover with some other dogs that were luck enough to escape and was found by a search party the following day. So then after all that a second transport was arranged and Miss Evie finally found her way into our care where we promised her that nothing bad would ever happen to her again.
