About Beautiful Bindi the border collie (On Trial12/8/14
What an absolute delight this beautiful girl Bindi is! Bindi is a 7 year old, border collie that is looking for a loving home to live out the rest of her life. Unfortunately Bindi's previous owner had to go into care and could no longer care for her. Bindi is already house trained and a very lovely, loyal dog.
Bindi likes chewing bones in the sun, pats, walks and lots of attention.
Bindi came from a loving home where she was allowed to sleep and spend time inside but she also enjoys being outside during the day, so this is what we would like for her in her new home.
She likes to be walked every day.
She is great with kids but doesn't like cats.
Twice a week she is used to having a can of sardines mixed with her food to keep her coat looking beautiful.
Because Bindi hasn't been around many other dogs so she doesn't like other dogs around when she's eating, but it's no problem, we just feed her separately.
Ideally she would love to be an only dog, or with a male dog, even a younger dog.
The hard work has already been done with this beautiful girl, if you are looking for a sweet, smart, lifelong companion Bindi is the dog for you.
For more information or to meet Bindi, please contact her foster carer Rebecca on 0438 678 818 or email bec85b@hotmail.com. Bindi is in foster care in Raymond Terrace, NSW (Port Stephens, 25 minutes north of Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.
Bindi's adoption fee is only $300 and includes her desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.rtf.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
