About Jack Bean
Jack Bean is a Chihuahua crossed with a Jack Russell. He's petite and has a very cute Chihuahua face, but he has the energy and stamina of the Jack Russell breed!
Jack is a loyal little man, he loves to be around people and he is happy and enjoys everyone he meets. He is good with kids, and would make a wonderful family companion. Jack has a lot of energy and requires a family who will give him lots of exercise - lots of walks, games and including him in their every day life!
Jack has had a difficult month. He was at the animal shelter for several weeks and then was transferred to our rescue group as he was not coping in a shelter environment. He developed bronchitis and required an extended stay in the vet clinic, and this has been difficult for Jack to cope with. When he came to us he was very anxious and depressed. Jack has developed some separate anxiety due to the boredom of being hospitalised, and also due to the instability of the last few months of his life.
Jack made a great deal of progress as soon as he was out of the shelter environment. His foster family took him on lots of long walks and started basic training with Jack and the results paid off immediately.
Jack enjoys the company of other dogs, but most of all enjoy being close to his human family!
Medical notes
Jack is desexed, vaccinated, tested for heartworm and microchipped. He has spent time in foster care which has allowed us to get to know Jack and match him with the perfect family for him!
He has been wormed regularly, and treated with flea and heartworm prevention. He has been fed Royal Canin food whilst in our care.
