About Sekara (adopted 20/8/14)
Hi there, I’m Sekara and I am a 14 week old, female, Mastiff cross. Currently I am holding interviews for a new human to love and I am hoping it could be you. My selection criteria will look for someone who is fairly active and like to go for walks, but also like to cuddle up and watch a movie.
I am still a puppy and a relatively large one so it is probably best that you don’t have small children, but I am more than happy to share my time with another fur baby (as I do now). I have had no experience with those ones that meow, however my current foster humans have chickens and a parrot. I find them rather boring, so I just leave them alone.
I would like a human who doesn’t leave me alone all day as I will be very bored and lonely and I need to be a part of the family.
I’ve been learning lots of new things recently and I sit when I am asked – even at meal times.
I love my walks and never pull on my lead – I would prefer to stay close to you. I like to chase balls and I can even bring them back to you – I think it’s a great game.
My foster Mum is jealous of my long legs and explains to me that I am a little clumsy right now as I am still growing into them, but that when I do I will need to be sure to have proper fencing to protect me from the dangers that may be out there.
She also says that I am a smart girl with a beautiful nature who is always happy to see you. I like to talk to you – but I don’t bark and I don’t jump, but when I am playing I sometimes forget my size and I may accidently knock a small person over.
With training or even puppy classes – I can be even better!
My foster Dad has asked me to say that I am the sweetest girl he has ever met and I am very proud that I have melted the tough guys hard – I must be something special!
I am a very good girl and my foster mum loves me very much – but it is now time for me to find my forever home. So if you are ready for a new family member who has endless love to give, together with loyalty, intelligence and good looks – then look no further – you need to apply.
Just contact my foster Mum and she will tell you anything else you need to know – She will have a few questions for you too.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire, in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
