About Yogi the Poodle (On Trial 9/8/14)
HI, I’m “YOGI” a nearly 3 year old toy poodle. I am a playful, fun loving, energetic beautiful boy. I love all other dogs, big or small. I came from a home with a lot of dogs and at the moment I’m in foster care with 5 other small dogs so I would like a home with another dog to play with.
I do not shed at all, making me an easy inside dog. I need regular brushing (every few days depending on length), bathing (every few weeks) and clipping (every 4 to 8 weeks) to keep me comfortable and beautiful.
I do not want to be outside all the time. If my family is home I need to be with them. I am a great sleeper and only bark if I hear someone strange coming to my door. I was not toilet trained and had no obedience training at all, but within a week I already “sit” and use the doggy door. My toilet training is going well but sometimes I have a few accidents. But in my new home It would not take me long to learn if you help me by rewarding me when I "go" outside.
I love my walks and just want to run run run! I would be great with a young family as I love children. I am very energetic and I am a ball of fun. I love toys but also love lots of cuddles.
So if you have are energetic and happy to keep me inside and love me to bits like I would love you then please contact Carolyn 0404 874 136 or email Carolyn@tradeserv.com.au. We are in Valentine, NSW (Lake Macquarie, south of Newcastle).
Yogi's adoption fee is only $500 and includes his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au
Medical notes
Gorgeous, healthy young boy.
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire, in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
