About Maisy
Beautiful Maisy was rescued from Blacktown pound in mid-July, she was very pregnant.
She proved to settle in very quickly, giving headbutts and crawling onto our laps. Once finished with quarantine, she was opened up to the full house and explored like she had been there all along, sitting in the kitchen and on the couches. She doesn't mind our cats as long as they approach her slowly.
Maisy has just given birth on 01/08, to 4 beautiful little bubbahs. She had the easiest birth and has obvious experience, she is very protective and knows exactly what to do for her babies.
She is still very affectionate with us and allows us to touch her babies.
Due to nursing, Maisy will not be available for adoption until October - however, we would love to start "advertising" her now in the hope that her potential family will consider adopting Maisy along with one of her babies.
Adopting a mum and their baby means that you get the best of both worlds: a chilled, quiet adult cat to sit on your lap and snuggle you at night, and a playful little kitten who will be grateful to spend forever with their mum. Plus, they will already be bonded - a much better idea than deciding to adopt a second cat down the track and risking a personality clash.
Please give our beautiful Maisy a chance. She so very deserves to find a home of her own, rather than watch all her babies leave her one by one...
Maisy and her babies are available for you to come and meet at a scheduled time (being aware that none are available to leave until October).
Located Berkeley Vale, Central Coast NSW. :)
Adoption details
Due to the fact Maisy is NOT ready to leave care yet, visits can be arranged during her nursing process. Prospective owners are welcome to visit as many times as they like so that they can share the experience of bubs growing up, and decide which bub will be Maisy's companion.
Phone calls are preferred, however expect email responses within 48 hours.
