About Puppy Anna, kelpie (On Trial 17/8/14)
Hi, I'm Anna, a 13 week old kelpie x puppy looking for my forever home. By looking at my photos you can see that I'm just a big sook and I love my snuggles and cuddles with my foster family. At the moment I live with my sister and two young children which whom I am very gentle. I do jump up but haven't knocked over any children.
We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training.
As I have only been with my sister so far and not any other dogs or animals but if you let me meet them at my own pace and make it a good experience for me I'm sure I will get along with other friendly dogs and animals. During the day I enjoy being outside in backyard playing with my toys and lying in the winter sunshine. At night I like to sleep inside.
My foster mum is house training me and I am learning well. My ideal home would be one with gentle children, maybe another dog, and where I will be allowed to come inside with my family and sleep inside.
For more information or to meet Anna, please contact her foster carer Renae on 0427 189 140. Anna is in foster care in Cardiff, NSW (Lake Macquarie, south of Newcastle).
Anna's adoption fee is only $450 and includes her desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, and microchipping. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire, in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
