About Alice(On Trial 19/8/14)
Alice is a lovely gentle 8 1/2yr fox terrier x Chihuahua. Until recently she has kept to herself. But now you only have to look at her and that tail wags and wags. She plays with the other dogs and that tail wags and wags! She has shown herself to be a happy and friendly dog.
Alice isn't terribly active:) and a little motivation helps get her out of bed and out and about. She is house trained and is an inside dog.
Alice isn't a lot of work. She isn't a demanding dog. She isn't an aggressive dog. She is just happy to be your companion and be loved.
If you think you could provide Alice with a loving and secure home for the rest of her life, please contact Lucyann by email to blackorchid7@hotmail.com.au. Alice is in foster care in Dora Creek, NSW (Lake Macquarie, south of Newcastle).
Alice's adoption fee is only $250 and includes her desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire, in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
