About Moro ~ Rehomed 1/11/14
Meet Moro - a friendly 11 month old medium sized cattle dog x kelpie pup. He has such a loving friendly temperament, he makes friends easily with both humans and dogs. Moro is easy going and will bond quickly to his new family.
Moro loves walking and walks very well on a lead. He's interested in sniffing his surroundings and friendly with people he meets along the way. He is also happy to lay contently at your feet when you're occupied with chatting to others or doing chores. We are unsure of his breed mix but think he may be a kelpie cross with those big radar ears and the speckles indicate cattle dog. He is very quick to learn; reward focused and listens to most commands.
Moro loves a cuddle and is fantastic with children. He is in foster care with four children aged from 2 years to 8 years and he is gentle even when playful with them. Some dogs really sense how to behave gently around children, Moro has that trait down pat. Moro loves to play with toys and play fetch too.
If you are looking for an easy going, friendly and content companion then Moro is the pooch for you. To meet Moro please contact Bronwyn on 0438 448 923 or bronwyncrofts@gmail.com. Moro is in foster care in Charmhaven on the NSW Central Coast
Moros’ $400 adoption fee includes his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire, in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
