Butch Is Trying A New Home With Simba!!

Butch and simba are trying a new home!!

Butch (9kg and cream with smoky highlights) has a very placid personality but is very scared of thunder and can sense it coming well in advance.  however simba (4kg and cream with caramel highlights) is very brave! butch and simba have always been indoor dogs and part of the family but of course love their walks and being in the garden. They have always had full access to inside through a doggy door and are very house proud with good manners. Like two furry cushions minding the house, they have never broken or ripped anything while their mum has been at work all day. Butch and simba sleep on the end of their mum's bed and we want a home where this can and will continue. We will not consider separating these two. Butch and simba have been spoilt 'rotten' with every comfort, but have richly deserved every consideration. Unfortunately their owner's circumstances have changed dramatically and she is now forced to find a loving home for her two best friends. Butch and simba's mum would like to see them kept in the wonderful condition that they are in and will pay for their grooming and veterinary needs for the rest of their lives. They are in very good health and always have their heartworm and flea prevention, grooming and vaccinations whenever they are due. They have no arthritis and run around like a pair of teenagers.  butch and simba must be rehomed as house dogs and will not be rehomed out of the sydney metropolitan area. Update 17 august: butch and simba were advertised on paws some months ago and we were thrilled to find them a lovely new home with two older retired ladies.  sadly one of the ladies has developed dementia and has gone down hill in a very short space of time and the other lady has extremely painful arthritis which limits her mobility. This makes it impossible for them to care for their home any longer and consequently they will be moving into a retirement village that does not allow animals at all.  poor butch and simba must again find a new home as soon as possible.  as they  are older dogs, a home that is similar to the one they have been living in is the best home for them.  we would love to see them go to a retired couple who will love and spoil them as the two ladies did. They love to go into the garden for a good sniff and   nice walk is not out of the question for these two either.   butch and simba have never lived in a household that has small children so in fairness to them we feel a quieter home would be best.  of course grandchildren visiting would be ok as long as they were supervised.  butch and simba's original owner will continue to pay all ongoing vet and grooming costs.  they are house dogs who are house trained and are in extremely good condition. Does anyone have room in their home and their heart for these two senior citizens?
