About "Elinor" -Purrfect Match
Elinor came into car with her identical sister Marianne and thus were named after the Dashwood sisters from Jane Austen's Sense & Sensiblity . These beautiful raven black sisters with their white throat patch were rescued from a regional hoarding situation rescue effort Purrfect Match particpated in to get 45 + cats and kittens living in appalling conditions to ethical rescue safety. Elinor and Marianne were being housed in a horrible ourdoor enclosure exposed to the elements with the barest minimum of food. Surprisingly both have needed minimal medical care and intervention and are both beautifully healthy. Elinor is slightly larger than her sister but possesses the same sweet, affectionate and trusting nature.So far in care, has shown herself to be a veritable lady who appreciates the good things in life and has been great with children, accepting of other cats after proper introductions and patience, and not too fussed by well mannnered dogs. Elinor will need a safe indoors home unless there is a safe enclosed or cat maxed area for outdoor time. Her sleek shiny black coat requires minimal care and she is a calm, low maintenance girl who likes her higher up lounging and sitting places. Asmall discount may be applicable for a double adoption with her sister...such a beautiful, even tempered pair !

**WINTER SPECIAL PRICE for our adult long termers**
For the months of June, July and August we are having a HALF PRICE special all our long termers who have been in care for 18 months or more.
Adoptions are still subject to the same requirements as regular adoptions, i.e. Indoor homes unless other wise stated in the case of FARM CATS, as well as home checks for out of state or long distance adoptions where meet and greet can't be arranged.
Trial periods are given to ensure the cat/kitten is the Purrfect Match for your situation and refund is available within the agreed trial period that is geared to suit the individual cat.
After indicating your interest in a cat or kitten you wish to adopt we put you in contact with his or her foster carer. You can then organize a meet and greet.
If you decide to go ahead with the adoption you are required to complete the adoption form and transfer of microchip paperwork. The foster carer will have these documents for you to complete or they can be sent to you via email. Payment can be made via direct deposit or cash to the carer.
We have transport opportunities available from time to time.
Cats are sold desexed, first vaccination and micro-chipped. They will be up to date on their worming and flea treatment.
PLEASE NOTE: Unless other wise stated as in the case of BARN/FARM cats.. ALL our cats are for INDOOR HOMES ONLY or specially built cat enclosures.. We rescued them off the street and would think nothing worse that they be placed back there and in danger of all the perils of modern day society.
Please respect our wishes with these requirements. We care about our cats and matching the cat to the adopter is important as is the home they are going to.
