About Myka (D2736)
Myka is a lively young lady with a lovely nature. Rescued from Onslow, she is very bouncy and enthusiastic and had had not training prior to going into foster care. She is very bright and has now begun to learn a whole new set of skills. She has already mastered "sit", “lie down” and “come”! She now heels and runs well on a lead, behaves nicely in the car if she’s secured and thinks being on the back of a ute is the best thing since sliced bread. She’s fabulous off lead, staying nearby, and has enjoyed going prospecting, four wheel driving and regular beach trips with her carers. She gets too excited by children to be suitable for a young family. She loves cats and other dogs, and is very enthusiastic about engaging them in play! Myka will need to be with someone who can spend lots of time with her as she gets very anxious when left alone, even when left with distracting activities. We think she’d make a great dog for a tradie, energetic grey nomads or an active older family.
If you’re after a dog who will love being out and about by your side, Myka will make a very loving, loyal and fun companion.
