Bess

"When I turn on my bedside lamp in the morning, Bess knows I'm awake and comes up to my head for a snuggle. She is a sweet-natured girl with a loud happy purr. I wish I could keep her forever." -- Bess's foster carer.

Bess and her three kittens were found on the street and are still learning to trust humans. Initially very fearful, Bess has lots of affection for anyone who spends time stroking her and scratching under the chin.

She has been fostered with her kitten Poppy, who loves playing with her. Sometimes Bess will leap and roll around with Poppy, and sometimes she'll give a motherly swipe and go back to sleep.

Bess loves being near her human and resting quietly (sometimes on or beside the human's lap). She could handle living with other cats and maybe with children, although she's a bit suspicious of fast-moving humans. Bess has had it tough and is ready to settle in to her forever home.
