About Sammy, Mini Foxy (On Trial 20/9/14)
Sammy, 2 and a half yo, Mini Foxy. He is a lively little boy who bounces along with a happy spring in his step. He loves to sit on your knee for cuddles or will follow you around everywhere. He uses the doggy door to go outside when needed for toileting. He has some basic training and will sit for food and has started to respond without the reward.
Sammy is an inside dog and needs to be allowed inside, at least when people are home, and to sleep inside. He gets along with most other dogs his size so long as they are friendly and docile. He loves people, but being small, he isn't suited to children under 8 years old. His birthday is 28/12/2011.
Sammy will make a great little companion dog as he just wants to be with you and enjoy your company.
For more information or to meet Sammy, please contact his foster carer Pamela on 0468402158 or email pamenage@hotmail.com. Sammy is in foster care in Dungog, NSW (1 hour north of Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.
Sammy's adoption fee is only $400 and includes his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire, in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
