About Scamp
*scamp is trialling his new home* scamp (buddy) is an absolute gem. He justs gets along with everyone and everything he meets. He was introduced to children under 5 the other day and loved them, happily followed them around (i think wanting pats and cuddles) which he lapped up. He has great manners, sits and waits for his food and is very happy to potter with his foster brother and sister. He knows his name and will sit when you ask him to (loves his chicken necks). Scamp (buddy) is not a chewer, a digger and is not destructive, he has now learnt to bark but only when someone is walking up the drive. Expensive toys are not necessary, he will play for hours with whatever he can find, whether it be a stick or a toy in the garden. He doesn't destroy any plants and doesn't try to get into places that have been fenced off. He is great inside, takes himself outside when he needs to "go", and leaves shoes alone, will sit on his bed chewing his rope toy. He is great on the lead, not that he has had any training on it, but is happy just to be close to you. He is learning new things everyday and absorbs everything around him. Loves to have a run and play on the beach and he still has the puppy look when he runs, very cute and rather funny. When he feels it is time to go to bed, he just curls up and you don't hear from him until the morning. He loves his sleep and only wakes up if another dog gets up or you say good morning to him, but, saying that the head comes off the pillow and then its back to sleep. Scamp (buddy) loves his cuddles, he is very soft and cuddly and will make a great companion for another dog. Scamp (buddy) is a fantastic little boy that is going to make some family very happy. It looks like he will stay a small dog, but totally loveable. Scamp (buddy) must be rehomed with another canine companion for guidance and leadership.
