About Tig
Let us introduce you to another one of our longest standing residents here at the Cairns Shelter. Tig has been in shelter care for many months now and is another unwanted pet. I would rather be living with a lovely couple or single person who has time to take me for a walk or throw the ball in the back yard. Tig gets treated really well here at the shelter and goes out for walks everyday with our lovely volunteers but it's just not the same as having his own place to call home. On first impression of Tig you will see that he is quite excitable when you come to see him in his kennel but when you ask to take him for a walk to see what he's really like that's when the true Tig shines. He's still young and needs some obedience training but is a very smart dog and will learn manners very fast. He's already learnt a lot since being with us here.He hasn't had a lot to do with children so it may take me awhile to get used to little people. He would be better suited to a family with older children as he can be a bit unsure at first. He's also a little bit scared of men that have heavy work boots on or are in Tradesmen Uniform. Tig has basic manners and is great with other dogs too. Don't let him spend another month without a real home come and ask to meet him out of his kennel today......#Tig can be adopted for $315 He is desexed microchipped and up to date with all his vaccinations#
