Wanda *On Trial in Her New Home*

*WANDA IS CURRENTLY TRIALING HER NEW HOME - NO MORE ENQUIRIES/APPLICATIONS PLEASE* She’s a dog called Wanda (not a fish!) and she’d love to have the opportunity to ‘wanda’ her way into your heart and then never ‘wanda’ far from you ever again!

From what we know poor little Wanda hasn’t had much luck with finding a permanent forever home – she’s ended up in our local pound twice that we know of through no fault of her own; the last time she was adopted from the pound she was sadly surrendered back again after only 14 months as her owner couldn’t have a dog at the retirement home he was moving into, so that’s when us SARG folk stepped in and we’ve promised we’ll try our hardest to find her that permanent somewhere special.

Wanda is a friendly, affectionate little dog with loads of personality who just adores cuddles and spending time on your lap. She’s settled in well into foster care where she’s enjoying the good life with her foster carers own little dogs. This little bundle of love might be 8 years old but she’s still an energetic pocket-rocket as you can see from her video – she was rather excited about receiving some tasty Schmackos! Wanda adores her humans and is especially good with children of all ages – her foster carer would’ve loved to keep her but she also has indoor cats and unfortunately Wanda’s not good with cats, wanting to harass and chase them. She says she’s great on a lead and enjoys getting out and about and being a more mature lady Wanda won’t chew up your belongings!

Adorable Wanda is toilet-trained and well behaved indoors. She also sleeps inside at night which we’d want to see continued in her forever home. Sadly moving from home to home has left Wanda feeling a little anxious and she doesn’t like being separated from her humans for too long, so she’d be best suited to a home with a retiree or someone who works from home or even a stay at home mum – she will make a loving and loyal companion and a terrific little lapdog. And even though she gets along well with other dogs she'd love a home where she can have her humans all to herself as she can get a bit jealous as she's used to being an only dog. Secure fencing, chicken necks to chew on and lots of attention to help Wanda feel wanted will make her a very happy dog indeed!
