About Tigger
Tigger is a beautiful, leggy brindle Basenji who enjoys being part of a family. He is gentle and loving with children, loves being inside of the home around his people and responds well to both female and male owners. He will thrive with a caring and patient owner who can show him stability, affection and boundaries.
Tigger doesn't like being left alone for long periods of time and will need a doggy friend for company. He is very dog social and enjoys going on walks and regular trips to the beach and fenced dog park. Tigger can be male dog dominant at first, but quickly warms up to all dogs; he will be perfectly matched with a confident, loving and patient owner and a dog friend who doesn't mind cozying up.
Tigger likes to be around people and his ideal family will welcome him inside the house when they are home. Once Tigger has settled in, he is a happy, fun and affectionate young fellow. He is crate trained and travels well in the car.
Ideally we would like to re-home Tigger in a home with an experienced Basenji owner and another dog companion. Very secure 6ft fencing (no wires) are a must as he is a quite a skilled climber and being a young boy, he will require plenty of mental and physical stimulation.
Medical notes
Tigger has been DNA tested for Fanconi Syndrome, coming back Clear / Normal.
