About Puppy Bentley (On Trial 27/7/14)
Bentley is a 14 week old, male, American Staffy puppy. He's a very handsome, affectionate and fun-loving young boy with his whole life ahead of him to share with some lucky family or person. Bentley hadn't received any training before coming into rescue so he needs a gentle and patient person who has the time to take him to training classes to learn basic manners (walking on lead, not to jump on people) to give him the best start in life. He is already responding well to positive training.
Bentley will benefit from normal, puppy socialisation to give him good experiences with friendly people and dogs so he will I grow up to be a well adjusted adult. Bentley, like any young dog, needs a daily walk.
Being a normal puppy, he needs to chew so needs to be provided with appropriate toys such as kongs and raw bones or he find other things to chew such as shoes or furniture. He also needs a secure yard with 5ft fencing and no small gaps or holes. He was underweight when rescued so good quality, nourishing food will bring him up to normal weight.
By giving Bentley the love, time and attention that every young dog needs, you'll ensure that he will be a welcome member of your family, that you can allow indoors and take with you anywhere, for the rest of his life. He will reward you with everything he has: his undying devotion.
If you would like to meet Bentley or would like to know anything more please contact his foster carer Karen email plumb2a@bigpond.com or ph 0411 263 304. He is in care on the Central Coast NSW.
Bentley's adoption fee is $450 and includes his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire, in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
