About Little Mouse
Little Mouse is a puppy at heart still, which is incredibly lucky since she was found starving and wandering the streets. This Little girl is tiny, hence her name. When she was found in the middle of the night she was shivering and covered in rashes, looked much older than she really is and you could easily count every rib from several metres away. Fortunately she has a good appetite and a willingness to trust. She has put her weight back on and is healthy and happy.
She loves to play and she loves to cuddle. Little Mouse can sometimes be a bit naughty, dragging packets of biscuits off the coffee table or walking over laptops.
Little Mouse hasn't had any training prior to be rescued it would seem. She is clever and quick to learn.
This little girl IS a chicken and a cat chaser. I wouldn't think she would be a good fit with a home with small animals like cats, rabbits, chickens or other birds. So far she has shown interest in playing with other small to medium sized dogs but she hasn't been exposed to many and none that have wanted to play with her. A home with another small dog would be ideal.
Medical notes
Little Mouse is not yet desexed but that will be a condition of adoption, she must be desexed before the adoption can be finalised.
First vaccination has just occurred and the second injection will be due in a few weeks.
She has been wormed but has not yet had the heart worm injection.
Adoption details
All animals are adopted, never sold, and an adoption contract is required in each case.
We generally bring the animal(s) to you and reserve the right the inspect the housing and garden at this time. That marks the beginning of a 30 day trial adoption period.
We suggest coming to meet Little Mouse in a neutral environment as the first stage. We can coordinate this with the foster carer for you.
We are committed to supporting you throughout the life of the animal you adopt, so we are here for advice or assistance where possible. We want you and your new family member to have a long happy life together so we will do what we can to ensure this.
We require a completed adoption form to finalise the adoption and commence the trial period.
