Ben

Meet Ben a big beautiful handsome boy who has been a neglected dog and who will need to find a home with an experienced shepherd owner. Not that Ben is a difficult dog he is not he just a rescue dog and will need a home with sensible dog savvy people.

You see due to his neglect Ben has a tendecy to display resource guarding with his toys, and sometimes his food bowl.

However, we are confident that once Ben is in a stable home environment and with training and firm boundaries this beautiful dog will become a much loved family member.

Therefore we would recommend he NOT go to a home with children under 18 years of age. \ We also would suggest he be the only dog and as he is a strong willed dog we would also suggest he not go to a home with pocket pets or cats.

This handsome boy was left as a yard dog with minimal socialisation with other dogs or people but in the short time he has been in our care he has become connected with his carer and is responding well to those around him and listening to commands.

Ben is now seeking attention and wants his tummy rubs and to sit beside you. He enjoys his playtime and is typical of the shepherd breed in that he loves to run and chase his toys but still seeks you out for love and cuddles.
