About Jazza...cat and dog friendly
Jazza is a staffy x 1 yo female, brindle and white. She has a beautiful nature, loving, affectionate, cheeky and funny. Jazza currently resides with 2 cattle dogs of each sex, and 4 cats. She is house trained (scratches at door), obeys most basic commands (providing she’s not too excited, like when you first come home of a day), and responds well to firm commands and gentle praise as opposed to being scolded. Dinner time is her favourite time of day, and she sits for treats and meals, for about a nano-second. We’ve been working on that! She would ideally suit a family environment (she currently lives with an 11yo who she loves to cuddle with), with the company of at least one other dog to play with so she doesn’t become bored or lonely. She is intrigued with cats, tends to chase them if they make quick dashes, but when she is near them, she wags her tail madly and sniffs and nudges them with her nose. The cats are still teaching her boundaries with that, and she knows a hiss or thunder paw means back off. She needs more lead training, but travels in the car well. \ She sleeps in her own bed at night, and on the couch whenever we’re home. \ She has a but prefers to sit up on top of furniture on the deck (no doubt to stay off the cold floor) for some reason. With a little time, a pocket full of treats, and plenty of praise for obedience, she is a quick and keen learner. \ She loves people and animals alike, and would be fine to socialise with other friendly dogs. In fact, it would be highly recommended, so she retains her amicable nature. Jazz would ideally need space to run and a walk every day or so to help with her lead training (harness, no collar, as she is strong, and pulls on the collar), and to burn off her energy. She is a great watch dog with a nice deep bark, which she only uses at appropriate times.
Jazza is currently located in the Croydon area
