About Buddy
Did you know that people who own dogs are 54% more likely to get the recommended amount of daily exercise? Lucky for you guys, Buddy has put his paw up, volunteering to help you keep motivated with your fitness goals. All he asks for in return is a warm, comfy bed, a good feed and a daily snuggle. That’s way cheaper and heaps more fun than a personal trainer, right?
Buddy is a bouncy, friendly, exuberant pup. He is well past that awful, destructive, puppy phase, but is still goofy, playful, charismatic and heaps of fun. He’s a big fella, but it’s unlikely that he’ll get too much taller at this stage.
He is a roguishly handsome dog, with super soft, striking russet coloured fur and a great big smile. He could stand to gain a little weight - this is a challenge that he will accept with glee. Buddy’s drive for food makes him a relatively easy dog to train, provided you’re equipped with plenty of treats.
He has had some basic behavioural training, but his manners are still a work in progress (much like my children). He is housebroken and walks fairly well on a lead. If you are someone who works long hours, he’d prefer to have a dog friend to keep him company in your absence. He’ll spend time chilling in the backyard, but he’s happiest when he’s by your side, on the receiving end of a nice belly rub. Buddy is a friend to all – kids, other pooches, kitties, it doesn’t matter. He is a pup that wants to love, and be loved in return.
