About Lady
Lady is a super snuggly pure-bred, desexed English staffy. She has progressed beautifully from a nervous girl to a silly playful gem in such a short time. Although she has learned to play and enjoy the company of her foster brother, she would probably be better suited to a one dog home and definitely no cats. She needs a home where she will spend most of her time indoors with her family, and who has the time and patience to socialize her and give her a tonne of snuggles. She really wants to please her humans, so further training will be a breeze. Although she takes time to adjust to new dogs, she adores all humans; however, because of her nervousness, she would not be suited to a family with young children. \ Everyone she meets falls victim to her charms: she really is a sweetheart and would flourish in a gentle, affectionate home.
She is good with basic commands and responds brilliantly to training. She is very eager to please her humans. She is gentle when taking treats and although she can become assertive during play, her mouthing is always controlled and never ever bites. She is fully house-trained and always sits back when humans are eating: staring with doe eyes but never lunges. Occasionally, she will jump up when I come home or visitors arrive (although she is quite gentle about it), but it is not regular and I suspect this will easily be controlled.
Lady can be quite timid at times. She sometimes gets frightened when I go to pat her, as if I am going to hit her (perhaps an issue from her past). She becomes frightened and timid if she gets in trouble and often cowers or runs out of the room.
Lady is not high energy, but does require a daily walk. She needs a home where she spends most of her time indoors with her humans.
Lady doesn’t bark when visitors come to the gate or front door. She has now discovered the joy of toys, and can be quite destructive with them (she’s a staffy!), but has never chewed anything she shouldn’t. She has spent time inside the house alone and has always behaved. When she is outdoors while I am at work she mostly snuggles into her bed and waits for my return.
Medical notes
Lady has been desexed, vaccinated and micro chipped. She is up to date with flea and worm control
