About Shadow
Shadow is a large boned and still active eight year old male German Shepherd who has been taken into care after being surrendered to a Sydney Animal Shelter. \ Shadow's alleged crime was he was left all day by his former owners who had inadequate fencing and Shadow decided to go for a walk and was impounded by the local ranger.
Shadow is not a fence jumper he just needed to have the companionship of his human pack. Shadow is a good looking shepherd who would benefit from being the only dog in the household and being part of a family. \ Due to his size we would suggest he go to a home with primary school age children. \ We have not tested Shadow with cats or pocket pets at this stage.
Shadow knows his basic commands but is strong on lead and will be provided with a Cannie Collar when adopted by his new owner.

Medical notes
Shadow is a desexed male dog who has been C5 vacinated, heart worm tested negative and microchipped. Shadow has also been wormed and flea treated and will be hydrobathed prior to going to his forever home.
Adoption details
We have an Adoption Manager who screens all prospective candidates as to their suitability to adopt a German Shepherd Dog.
The successful candidate who adopts one of our dogs is provided with an information kit, ongoing support, training and advice on all aspects of feeding, training and general assistance to ensure both the new owner and our rescued dog settle into their home.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
