About Lozzie *On Trial in Her New Home*
*LOZZIE IS CURRENTLY TRIALLING HER NEW HOME - NO MORE ENQUIRIES/APPLICATIONS PLEASE* Lozzie the love-bug is looking for a new forever home after misplacing her old one – will it be with you???
Recently rescued from our local pound, where she’d ended up through no fault of her own, sweet Lozzie is a healthy, happy, friendly little dog who loves everyone she meets! She’d make a terrific lapdog as she seems happiest when fulfilling this role and can sit there for hours basking in the attention. On these cold winter nights we’ve been having here in Mildura you’ll find Lozzie snuggled up on the couch or tucked up in your bed if she can get away with it! She also has a fun side and is quite the character who likes to entertain you with her antics as she rolls around the lounge room floor. She’s energetic without being full on and enjoys going for a walk. She’s also a good little watchdog and will let you know if someone comes to the door.
Lozzie’s in foster care with 3 larger dogs and she’s the boss of them all, telling them off if they get too rough with her during playtime. She’s fine with the household cats and isn’t fazed by their chooks either. She loves children allowing them to dress her up for fun as you can see from her photos – it’s all about attention when it comes to our Lozzie! \ She’s also a water dog so a splash-pool to frolic in during the summer months will make her home complete.
Being a Maltese cross Lozzie doesn’t lose any hair though she’ll require a good brush once a week and a professional clip a few times a year to keep her coat in tip-top condition. As she’s already housetrained she would be best suited to an indoor / outdoor lifestyle in a home with another dog for company if her humans aren’t going to be home a lot. \ Secure fencing, daily walks or runs around the backyard, chicken necks to chew on and toys to play with will make Lozzie very happy indeed!

Adoption details
Please Note: SARG and our animals for adoption are located in Mildura in North-West Victoria.
Our adoption process commences with completing an Application form which you'll find at: www.sarg.net.au
The Application is then reviewed, references checked and a yard check done, then, if there are no issues, a meet and greet is organised. If all goes well the last stage is a 28 day home-trial to make sure that everyone is happy.
If the trial is successful our “stray” is then officially considered adopted and the microchip transferred into the new owners name.
If anything goes wrong SARG will always take back one of our animals :)
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
