About Jared *On Trial in His New Home*
*JARED IS CURRENTLY TRIALLING HIS NEW HOME - NO MORE ENQUIRIES/APPLICATIONS PLEASE* Named after one of the stars from the tv show “Supernatural”, Jared's carer often calls him ‘Wolfie’ as he resembles the ferocious predator. He might look like a wolf but he is a really cuddly, affectionate boy! Pick him up and he melts in your arms; you can even hold him like a baby and rub his tummy and chest as he loves this too!
Jared is a very lively pup with lots of Terrier traits. He loves to bark and he loves to chase and chew. Redirecting these bad habits is fairly easy with his love of toys or chasing his brother or even playing with (closely supervised of course) his foster carers kitten - there is nothing cuter than watching him bounce along after her! He will take well to training and already comes when called to both his name and his ‘Wolfie’ nickname. Toilet training is going well as he is being crate trained and sleeps inside in his crate at night - he will let you know when he needs to get out of the crate with mournful barking in the morning! He is not used to a collar or walking on lead as his vaccinations still need to come into effect. \ Like any young puppy he will need consistent work with any sort of training.
Enjoy some video of Jensen & Jared, they’re scratching as it’s the first time they’ve worn collars!: http://youtu.be/dtwm8wh_Uuo
So what breed is Jared? His mum was a Terrier mix which included Foxy and we did hear their father may have been a passing Blue Heeler cross although it’s hard to see it in either Jared or his brother Jensen. Both pups have an unusual stripe of black hair down their backs and tails which you can see in their photos/video. As he’s only small we can safely say he is a male pup with Terrier looks, after that we’re not 100% sure, but he is adorable! His coat is soft and a fraction longer than his brothers and his dark muzzle sometimes hides the gleam in his black button eyes. Very determined he will try at something until he succeeds such as jumping up onto the couch.
Loveable Jared gets along well with his carers 3 older dogs. He is used to teenagers, though being a puppy he is a bit ‘mouthey’ still so a home with older children or adults would be best. He does enjoy an indoor / outdoor lifestyle which we would want to see continued in his forever home.
All in all, Jared will be a lovely smaller dog when he gets older. \ He is well suited to a family with older children or a lively couple who want a fur baby.

Adoption details
Please Note: SARG and our animals for adoption are located in Mildura in North-West Victoria.
Our adoption process commences with completing an Application form which you'll find at: www.sarg.net.au
The Application is then reviewed, references checked and a yard check done, then, if there are no issues, a meet and greet is organised. If all goes well the last stage is a 28 day home-trial to make sure that everyone is happy.
If the trial is successful our “stray” is then officially considered adopted and the microchip transferred into the new owners name.
If anything goes wrong SARG will always take back one of our animals :)
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
