About Nordic
When Nordic first came into care it was clear he was going to need a bit of TLC. He was absolutely petrified of humans and refused to come anywhere near us if he could avoid it. Though with a little patience, Nordic is slowly coming out of his shell (but he still has a bit of a way to go). He is still quite cautious, (his courage is greatly improved in the presence of treats) though once you spend a bit of time with him his nerves will settle, and he is then quite happy to sprawl out on your lap and fall asleep.
He has a little bit more energy than his sister Neon though is still pretty quiet for a puppy his age and like most puppies, spends a great deal of time asleep. He absolutely adores other dogs and when faced with one will expresses his excitement through uncontrollable bottom wiggling and tail wagging.
Because he is still young, Nordic is still learning to toilet train. However, he quickly mastered use of the doggy door and seems to make it outside the majority of the time.
Nordic is improving every day but will require a family with some initial time and patience to help him fully come out of his shell and reach his full potential. We are looking for a home with another dog or where someone is home more often than not. Nordic still needs companionship at this stage and won't do well being left alone all day.
Nordic is NOT available for interstate adoption.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
