About Chloe (On Trial 17/8/14) ~ Special Needs ~
Chloe is a stunning chocolate coloured Shar-Pei cross Staffy. This precious 1 year old girl has a loving nature and adores children. If you are wanting to adopt a happy, playful and loyal companion then Miss Chloe is your girl as she just wants to be your best friend and be close to you so she can check out what you're up to.
Chloe will always greet you with a very happy and bouncy welcome first thing in the morning and when you come home. She loves to have a big energetic run around the yard and then all of a sudden she will turn on her cute, cuddly charm and will snuggle beside you for relaxation and snooze time. With her baggy wrinkly skin she has a lot to cuddle!
She is master of the cute sad face but don't let that fool you as she's really bursting with happiness and friendliness. She has learnt to sit on command (most of the time!) but being an excitable girl she forgets when she gets really excited.
Chloe is in foster care with 3 friendly dogs and she enjoys rough and tumble games with them. In foster care her best mate has been an English Staffy, Captain Duke, whom she adores. She has been a little unsettled since he was adopted as she bonds closely to the dogs she knows well. She can get over stimulated when meeting dogs she doesn't know so she will benefit from continued training in calm doggy introductions. She would also thrive in a family where she is the only dog as she would love to be spoilt like a princess.
Chloe is in foster care with 4 children and she's great with them all. Chloe is not suitable to a home with pocket pets like rabbits or guinea pigs as she wants to chase them. Chloe is toilet trained and will only have the occasional accident if she has eaten or drunk too much late at night. Her favourite place in the world is to be curled up in front of a warm heater or fireplace close to her best friends.
Chloe is in foster care near Wyong on the NSW Central Coast. To find out more or to meet Chloe please contact her carer Bronwyn on 0438 448 923 or bronwyncrofts@gmail.com. Chloe is not available for adoption interstate.
Chloe's adoption fee is only $300 and includes her desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration.
MEDICAL NOTES:
Chloe was rescued from the pound with demodectic mange (not contagious). \ She currently receives a daily oral medication which will, over the next couple of months, completely cure her mange. To keep her healthy long term she needs to have a highly nutritious diet including yummy ingredients added like sardines, eggs, tuna which she loves. Chloe will be available for adoption soon and is looking for a special family who will commit to her ongoing medication which we will supply. She will need a couple more visits to our rescue vet for skin scrapes over the next few months which we will cover.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire, in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
