Callie

Callie is a very special kitten needing a very special home.

This beautiful little girl didn’t have the best start in life. Born to a feral mother, lost and homeless on the streets Callie struggled to survive with her mother and siblings. Thankfully she was picked up by SCAR in time. Unfortunately the same could not be said for her mother as she was sadly hit by a car.

This special little girl came into our care very frightened and timid however in a small space of time she has revealed herself to be a loving and cuddly little kitten.

Callie, named after her beautiful calico coat, loves to be cuddled in bed or on the couch and has a purr as loud as a lawnmower. She is very relaxed when in her safe places which are the couch, chairs and the bed. She can still be a little nervous when approached whilst on the ground but with patience and love Callie will come right out of her shell.

Callie would be the perfect companion to someone on their own as she will greet you at the door and follow you around the house. However she is also very friendly to other cats and gets along with dogs as they are willing to give her her own space.

Whilst Callie has developed into a loving, playful and cuddly lap cat she would be best suited to a family without young children as when she is happily purring away she will knead with her sharp claws.

If you are looking for a kitten that will adore you for life and have the time and patience to give to this beautiful girl, then Callie is the one for you.

Callie gets along extremely well with other friendly cats but would be best re-homed in a home without excitable dogs or children under 12 years old.
