About Mali family moving overseas
URGENT!! FAMILY MOVING IN 3 WEEKS
From Mali's family:
We've had Mali for 1.5years. We got her from the cat shelter, but she has never been a stray. She is well cat and well house trained (she knows no bedrooms or kitchens) and is safe left alone for up to a week (inside or outside) with someone feeding her. She usually sleeps outside and stays outside all day when we are not home. \ She's not a noisy cat, and not clingy outside the first week or two of somewhere new. She's stayed with a few different friends and settled in everywhere pretty quickly.
Loves: Being inside on the couch with us for a pat.
Sitting beside the computer to help with study. Or really, being a quiet companion wherever you are (gardening, putting out the washing, having a shower).
Bird watching (though she can't catch them as she's afraid of their flapping wings)
Less than loves: New males and lots of loud noises (though she warms to anyone, she's just a bit of a scaredy-cat)
With other pets we're not so sure. \ She might not work in a house with other cats/dogs, though goes fine mingling with chickens and doesn't seem to mind neighbours cats on our property.
Also not sure about young kids. I'm not sure if they're at risk, more because she gets very stressed and scared if rushed at. She loves our neighbours kids and they are about 8-14 years old.
We have all her vet records from shelter and vet. She's been well, vaccinated (cat aids, flu up to date this year), wormed, desexed and microchipped. We would never give her up willingly, but we are moving overseas, and don't think the trip would suit her well.
Located in Yarraville
Medical notes
desexed, microchipped, vaccinated (F4 and FIV), flea and worm treated, vet checked
