About Max
Hi, my name is Max and I am sadly needing a new home at 8 years of age.
I am a lovely all round dog who has lived with children all my life. They are now teenagers from 13 years up and I am fantastic with them but they are a little busy these days and I don't get as much attention as I used to get.
I get on well with other dogs and love to travel in the car with my head stuck out the window to take in the scenery.
I did Dog Obedience to Level 1 in the past and will sit, shake hands and come on command.
I am a bit scared of thunderstorms and am hoping for a home where I can be snug and warm inside with you before winter sets in properly.
At present I am alone for 5 hours a day and am looking for another family who may have another dog, or you could be retired and are looking for a companion to take on those rambling walks with you.
Adoption details
If you think you can offer me a forever home please go to
http://www.staffordrescuevictoria.org.au/index.php/adoption-forms-6
and fill out the Adoption Request Form. You will receive an email acknowledgement within 3 days. If you do not receive any further contact after this please do not be discouraged. It just means that a suitable application was received before yours. We encourage you to contact Jan: jan.hutton@optusnet.com.au every 2-3 weeks to show you are still interested in adopting. As we will already have your form on file it will fast track the process when a suitable dog does become available.
Adopt one of our dogs and we are there for you for the rest of the dog's life. If you find you and the dog are not suited it is a condition of sale that the dog comes back to Stafford Rescue.
