About Koko (On Trial 14/7/14)
This is Koko, a gorgeous little, male, terrier around 2 years of age, with most unusual but very beautiful colouring in his fur. He’s like a golden brown cookie with a fine dusting of chocolate on the top, and he sets it all off with his lovely brown eyes. You’d think his movie star looks would have gone to his head, but no, he has a quiet and sweet personality, not at all pushy or boisterous, just cheerful and well-behaved and happy to go with the flow.
Koko is currently living with a range of dogs of all sizes, big and small, and doesn’t involve himself in any disagreements, doesn’t try to take anyone else’s food, just minds his own business. He likes to have a game with some of the other dogs of similar size, and is often seen chasing other littlies around the yard.
Koko is an inside dog and needs to sleep inside. This little dog is very affectionate, and is a perfect size for fitting on your knee, or for cuddling in to you on the couch or on your bed. He would make a lovely companion for anyone – no matter whether an elderly person, or as a family dog – he’ll always be a winner!
To find out more about Koko, please phone his foster carer Lynda, after 7pm Monday to Wednesday, or any time other days on 02 4987 1213, or text 0401 264 514. Koko is located near Raymond Terrace, NSW in Port Stephens and is available for adoption interstate.
Koko's adoption fee is only $400 and includes his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire, in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
