About Shiloh (On Trial 30/8/14)
Shiloh is a medium size, goofy, 8 month old Staffy cross who loves to give you cuddles any time of day. She loves other dogs of any size, and just wants to play with any people and dogs she meets.
Shiloh is fantastic with children, she plays well with them and is good at sharing toys and loves a game of chasings. She would make a great companion for slightly older kids or active teenagers, as she may accidentally knock little ones over when she's playing.
Shiloh loves car rides and would love a forever family who will take her on outdoor adventures and include her in family outings. Being young she is still learning to walk well on a lead as she sometimes gets a little scared when out walking. She is very treat focused and clever so will respond well to further reward based training. Shiloh is not fussy with food - she loves to hoover down her dinner.
Shiloh will need to be allowed inside when her family are at home, as she craves human and canine companionship. She would also suit a family who already has an energetic friendly dog, an active couple or a home with older children/teenagers where someone is home throughout the day. She loves exercise and interaction so he would not suit a home where she is left all day alone. Being a young social butterfly she prefers companionship. If you have a grassy yard with 5 foot fences, she will happily play all day long. Shiloh will chase cats, so she is not suitable for a family with cats or pocket pets as they are too tempting to play with.
Shiloh is content to sleep inside in a cosy bed in the laundry, but after a big day of doggy play she does prefer to snuggle up on the couch with her human companions so if you want a snuggly dog then Shiloh will be happy to accommodate you!

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire, in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
