About Eden
Eden is a very cute little dog who found himself impounded at the tender age of 12 months. Eden was probably bought by a family as a young puppy but the love affair with puppyhood doesn't always last very long with the dog ending up in the backyard all alone, unloved and bored until the little dog finds an escape route and ends up in the Pound. Eden's foster carer thinks he is a lovely little boy. He is very playful, loves his toys and enjoys having a romp with the other dogs he is in care with. Eden would love a home with another friendly, playful dog of similar size and age, a family with older children who would play with him or a retired couple. He is getting along nicely with his house training and will require access inside and out via a doggy door. Eden will enjoy going out for walks to the park and cuddles with his family and has a coat that will grow and require regular grooming.
Medical notes
UPDATE 29 JULY: Eden was taken to Dr Alison (one of the Opthalmologists at SASH (Sydney Small Animal Specialist Hospital) for a diagnosis on his eye. Eden has been on medication for his eye since coming from Renbury Farm Pound but, as things were not improving, we felt a specialist visit was appropriate. Dr Alison believes that Eden has suffered with trauma to his eye at some stage before he came to us as his eye is very red and quite painful at the moment. If we do nothing he will continue to be in pain and will develop glaucoma so the best option for Eden is to have his eye removed. We want what is best for him so will go ahead with the surgery next week. Eden will feel so much better once he has recovered and can then go to a new home.
