About Cooper (On Trial 21/7/14)
Cooper is a 2.5 year old smooth coat Jack Russell terrier, who adores being around people and loves being inside with the family.
He enjoys his daily walk and cherishes his time spent with you, whether you are out in the yard or inside.
Cooper is excellent with children and is happy to play with dogs smaller or of similar size to him, however, he may not be suited to home that has cats, chickens or other small animals. Their presence tends to overstimulate him.
Ideally his forever home would be one that is quite active, with or without children and preferably has other dogs for him to socialise with. He would also need lockable gates and good fences as he does take the opportunity to run to the gate if left open.
During his time in foster care, Cooper has been well behaved and has been a pleasure to have in our home.
For more information or to meet Cooper please send an email to Caroline moorefieldsfarm@bigpond.com. Cooper is in foster care in Glendale, NSW (Lake Macquarie).
Cooper’s $400 adoption fee includes her desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire, in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
