About Aspen (On Trial 26/7/14)
Aspen is a 7 week old male American Staffordshire Terrier x Border Collie and is and searching for a full time position as a family’s spoilt fur child or dogs sports competitor.
“I am affectionate and smart and of compact size with a short coat. I love my food and toys and I am highly motivated, making me extremely easy to train, I already know ‘sit’.
I am being exposed to many textures, sights and sounds and experiences to expand my knowledge skills to make me confident and stable in new situations. Although my brother (Mr Chubbs – also available for adoption http://www.petrescue.com.au/listings/303921) is more confident and strong headed he is also the bigger boof head and see’s with his stomach not his head sometimes. Whereas, I’m more the sensitive one.
I am happy, confident and content enough to be slightly independent when needed, but also sooky and attention seeking when tired and like to be with you in your arms. I love people and adult dogs as they play softer, as my brother picks on me sometimes.
I’m seeking experienced dog lover to participate in my entire life and development to become a well-adjusted companion. I will not be suitable for families with young children as when I grow I will be strong.”

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire, in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
