About Dustin
Meet Dustin
He is presumed to be a ridgeback mix, possibly some German Shepherd in him...we aren't really sure. He is a medium sized dog.
He has a lot of energy, so will still need his daily exercise and brain stimulants...ie: bones and toys. He can jump fences.
Dustin is a sweet boy, who travelled quite some way to be here with us. If you are looking for a medium sized dog, great with kids, then Dustin is your man. He loves his cuddles, and basically just being with you.
Dustin also loves the water, and would benefit from days at the beach etc. During his time here, he has become quite the watch dog and will bark if someone comes to the gate. He is praised for that and will stop when asked.
He is fine with other dogs and was un-reactive to the cat here, but otherwise untested with cats.
Dustin is a very smart dog, and very much accustomed to the acreage style of life. He loves chasing the field rats, collecting goodies to bring back to his bed and generally having a snoop around and keeping himself busy.
Dustins ideal situation would be a decent sized yard, or preferably acreage, where he was free to "do his thing" and of course, still be part of the family.
He would need a doggy friend I'd say as he has become quite close with the rescue greyhound he is with and the two spend all day together.
Currently located in Park Ridge.
Medical notes
Desexed, vaccinated, wormed, flea treated, vet checked, chipped.
Adoption details
All animals come with a 7 day trial period (this is negotiable depending on case by case differences, and will be discussed accordingly with anyone having queries)
After this time, and knowing that both the family and pet are happy together, the adoption will be finalized.
If an animal is to be returned for whatever reason during this 7 day period, a 10% administration fee will be taken out of the refund. Animals returned after this time, unfortunately forfeit the adoption price.
We are mostly located in Greenbank on the outskirts of logan, around 30-45 mins south of Brisbane.
