Gus

Gus is an affectionate character. He is keen to please and willing to learn. Gus walks well on lead, has good basic obedience (can sit, drop & wait for food), is well mannered in the house and sleeps happily inside overnight.

Gus loves to be with his people and would do well in a home where he can spend a lot of time around his people- preferably sitting right next to them on the couch!. He is good with other dogs, but would do best in a home with no cats.

Gus is good with kids but doesn't realise how big he is so may be best for a family with older children.He's excellent in the car. Hes a funny man with a big cartoon like grin. He loves to make people laugh and has a cheeky intelligent glint in his eye. His emotions are evident in his whole demeanor. When his happy his whole body wiggles, when he is sad he puts his head down, looks up into the "mean" humans eyes and does a great impression of a sulking spoilt child. He is the kind of dog who makes me smile just looking at him.

Gus loves to go on a good walk & loves his bones. He does need to with a person or another dog more often than not though. A lonely Kelpie is not a happy Kelpie! Gus is a lovely guy who will make his new person\people feel very loved.
