River

River is such a sweet little piggy! Sadly he has recently lost his friend and would love another.. If you have a lonely piggy at home, he'd love to be buddies! (or he can be bonded with another rescue pig at the sanctuary)

River is a little reserved and need a home that will continue to help build his confidence. Although he is improving everyday, he has a long way to go. He appreciates slow movements (fast movements give him a bit of a fright) and will accept pats and take food from you. I believe that he will come out of his shell as he feels more comfortable.

River has had a rough start and has never been shown the love and care he deserves. When he first came into care, he was petrified of people... It was heartbreaking. He has begun to come out of his shell, and although he doesn't like to be 'caught', once picked up he'll happily eat a treat from you. (He LOVES treats!!!)

He would be very suited to indoor piggy or like his house to be on a veranda near the family. River would prefer no littlies too.
