About Waldo
This could be Waldo’s favourite past-time of all – safely snuggled up with his new family snoozing on the couch or in front of the fire after a big day of having fun and exploring the world!
Waldo is a terrier cross – which is dog language for a small dog with a big heart and bigger personality. Waldo is smart, inquisitive and loves to explore. He especially enjoys car rides and looking out the window at all the new sights and happenings. And while he is ever ready for adventures, he is also content with the simple things in life – a walk, good food, human company, and cuddles and a snuggle under the covers at the end of the day.
Waldo is well-behaved, house trained and has great manners. He is working hard at getting more familiar with walking on the lead. Sometimes his inquisitive nature distracts him from giving this his full attention, but he is improving all the time and being the bright dog that he is, he will soon have this sorted.
Waldo doesn’t fret or whimper when left alone and after his initial excitement at greeting you he is happy to settle down and relax. He isn’t fazed by loud noises or new environments and if he was included in lots of outside activity and outings he would thrive. He is social and affectionate and likes to interact with other dogs big and small. There isn’t a cat where he is living present but he is living with another dog whose company he enjoys.
Waldo would probably be better suited to a household with older children. He would make a great companion for someone who is home during the day. He would also be happy in a home with another doggy friend for a companion.
