About Shadow Princess (On Trial 12/7/14)
Hi my name is Shadow Princess and I'm a 12 month old Koolie x Kelpie, my foster mum called me that because whenever she or my foster dad leave the room I am right there with them, just like their very own shadow. They say they added the princess name as they think I am just beautiful and delicate like a princess, what do you think?
I just love my new foster family especially my doggy foster siblings, Barney and Cleopatra, we just love playing chase around the garden and are even lucky enough to get to the beach or park every day. Since I moved to Umina Beach I have learnt all kinds of things, how to sit and wait nicely for my meals, I have learnt tug of war from Cleo and also that jumping up on the furniture is a no no, unless my foster mum and dad ask me up for cuddles, one of my all time favourite things. I will just lay there for hours with you if you want me too.
I have been told that I am not a needy puppy, but I must admit I do prefer company and for this reason my family think I will be better off with parents that are either home most of the time, or have another dog that can keep me company and play with. Although I like children I would prefer not to be in a family with small children, I wouldn't mind older ones (perhaps 10 or older) who can take me for walks, which reminds me I am very, very well behaved on the lead.
So if you think that you have a place in your heart and home for me then I am just waiting to meet you and see if we can be a family.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire, in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
