About Jack
Hi my name is Jack! I’m looking to find my forever family. I’m currently only 10 weeks old so I’m still just a puppy with a big fat belly but I’m bright as a button!
I’m happy,
smart,
playful,
active,
alert,
confident,
loving, and
I’m snuggly when I’m not playing.
I love to hang out on my parent's laps and when I get sleepy I will stare up at you and ask to snuggle up with you - either next to you or on you! I LOVE interacting with people and my tail wags so fast and I get all squirmy-wormy. I also love playing with dogs and don’t mind if they are big dogs.
I’m very smart and alert – I like to watch and listen to everything. Sometimes I watch TV and turn my head side to side. I like to watch what my humans are doing and be where the action is. I like to play a lot and will need lots of human attention/company and exercise once I grow up because I’m a working breed and I have lots of energy and lots of smarts. (oh yeah... and I do that working-dog stalking thing! I pretend my foster-brother-doggie is a sheep and I stalk him! There is a photo above of me doing this)
I quickly learnt my name, to come when called, and to sit on command. I also do a good job of sitting for food. I fetch toys and bring them back to you. I’m currently learning to go potty outside but at the moment I still sometimes go potty on the pee-pads inside the house. I know that “toilet” means I should wee or poo. I am currently learning to walk on the lead.
I love sleeping in my little cave-bed or crate, and am happy to spend time in a large crate or covered play-pen with toys to keep me occupied for an hour or a few, or overnight. Make sure it’s covered though or I won’t be in the play-pen for long but I sure will be playing ;) I sleep throughout the night but I like to wake around 7am and have some cuddles while I get a few extra zzz’s before the day begins. I currently need to sleep inside because I don't have a thick coat and brrrr is winter cold - even when I am wearing my knitted jumper!
I’m used to riding in the car in a crate or harness. I’ve been socialised to many things already including: small shildren, teens, dogs, ducks, horses, loud noises, the beach, the shops, being left alone for a few hours, being left with other people for a few hours. I am good at running (and sometimes sliding) on slippery floorboards - I think it's fun! \ I tend not to hassle my old foster-sister-doggie because she is a little cranky, but I have a good romp and wrestle with my 3yo foster-brother-doggie.
If you would like to learn more about me or chat to my foster parents please fill out the form below and email it through.

Let the adventure begin :)
Medical notes
I still need to get my last vaccination and get my manhood removed (mummy says I’m being a responsible young man). So I will be ready to move in with my new family in a few weeks (can't say when exactly as we are waiting for my manhood to "drop" so it can be removed) - and then I’ll be all ready to go with you everywhere.
