About Puppy Hamilton (On Trial 6/7/14)
Hamilton is a 14 week old Border Collie X Labrador puppy who will grow up to be a medium/large dog. He is a very human orientated pup and loves to be involved with everything you do. He has learnt to sit when asked, and to wait for his food and has learnt several other commands. Hammy is a very well behaved boy for his age. He has been very well socialised and loves playing with his brothers and sisters in our pack and would suit a house with another dog to play with.
Hamilton is toilet trained and enjoys spending quality time watching TV with his family cuddling and sleeps at the foot of the bed, but will learn to sleep in his own bed if necessary. He is very good on or off lead and has is very good at coming when called.
If you are looking for a sweet puppy to grow into a dog that you can take anywhere Hamilton is your boy. As with all the puppies he is still learning the ropes so his new family will need to continue training him and guiding him with what is expected of him. He has a gentle nature but needs a family who will exercise him so he doesn't get bored and destructive.
For more information or to meet Hamilton, please contact his foster carer Aaron on 0421 800 065. Hamilton is in foster care in Newcastle, NSW and is available for adoption interstate.
Hamilton's adoption fee is only $450 and includes his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, and microchipping. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire, in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
